James Degale PPV worthy in UK ? Earlier in the year Eddie Hearns announced that Degale will defend his title against the mandatory in the undercard fight of Joshua-Martin card which makes alot of sense as they can sell it as PPV on Sky Box Office. But Hearns is back tracking from his words as he suggested that Degale might headline his own card on 14th May which is a very bad move as far as PPV numbers are concerned. If it was the unification fight against Badou Jack I could understand Hearns and Sky making it a PPV but against a mediocre fight like Medina it can surely be only non-ppv event

Rogelio Medina ? A decent boxer from mexico with a record of 36 wins in 42 fights and 30 knockouts. His most notable fights were against current WBC champions Badou Jack which he lost of course along with another big fight agains J’Leon Love resulting in another defeat. Realistically he don’t have a chance and Degale should defend his title and setup bigger fight against Badou Jack later in the year.
